It resulted that I cannot change the brightness at all. Not by the two adjustment hotkeys on the keyboard nor by the adjustment bar in the windows which does not visible at all. I could not find any possibility for the brightness adjustment in the AMD catalyst control center neither. I tried all the possible solutions that I found on this website or other sources. I tried updating the drivers (display adaptorts and monitor too) via windows update, also tried to install them manually (download the available ones for win 8.1 from HP website) , I tried to install HP collaboration keyboard and I checked if the pnp monitor is allowed in the device menu. None of these solutions have worked.

My laptop is dell inspiron 15R 4gb ram i5 processor and 1gb ati graphic card earliar my lap used to heat and trip then i faced problem of blue screen error and screen hanged with small pixels i got it repaired guy told me that it is graphic card issue and after a month. Screen just got freezed and now there is no display not even with external monitor. Graphic card is motherboard mounted can anyone give me a solution for it.
Same video display driver is not working which i used one year back. I reinstall my hp laptop n installed those drivers i kept already in my pendrive. But this time it shows like installing but nothing happened. I can not change the brightness which is a big problem for me.
